Finlay, Age 6, The Bosun's Bite Cafe, Rye Harbour

I asked Finlay about his drawing, as it had caught my eye that the elephant looked like it was walking away, yet we could see his face.
Finlay smiled and shrugged his shoulders.
And what's all that between his legs, in red crayon, I asked?
Poo, giggled Finlay.

Another unique elephant created!

Freya, Age 7, The Bosun's Bite Cafe, Rye Harbour

Freya didn't like this elephant she'd created and had screwed it up. However, knowing that every single elephant, real or drawn, is unique, I asked her to show it to me anyway, which she did - and we decided it should be rescued from being crumpled and ending up in the recycling bin.
And as you can see, this is a pretty amazing one-of-a-kind elephant…
just like all the real ones all over the world.

And here's a picture Freya drew of her elephant walking away.
Good perspective and eye for detail, eh?
